My kids love their books, so much so some of them are in 3 pieces. Well, mainly the very hungry caterpillar book, all the kids seem to love that book!
Today to kick off our 6 weeks of Top 10 lists for this year I want to share our favorite 10 books!
The Baby Touch and Feel range is a hit with my little ones from the time they are able to sit up and have some kind of mastery over their hand movements. These touch books continued to be a great source well up to 2 years of age. My 3 year old will still sometimes page them.
Richard Scarry’s children’s books are my 4 year old boy’s favorite since he was 2, especially the Cars and Trucks and Things That Go title.
Lift the flap books are full of surprises. We enjoyed Dear Zoo with lifting each flap to discover something interesting.
Eric Carle is another author who has some very awesome books. The most popular being the very hungry caterpillar and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?
I think every home already has the very hungry caterpillar in it! Do check out our The Very Hungry Caterpillar Activities a Toddler and Preschool Wish List an awesome list! Our next book on the purchase list is Eric Carle’s ABC for when we start learning some more about the alphabet next year.
Pete the Cat has been recommended by a few teacher friends and I am eager to get a few on my next book order from Amazon.
Looking at all sorts of animals is a must for my little ones, they really enjoy My Big Animal Book and Little Blue Truck. My one year old is loving Ten Little Ladybugs.
My mother in law sent our 3 year old A Busy Day at the Building Site it has puzzles to solve on every page for when he is a bit older, but right now, he loves to just look and point out all the people and objects. This one will keep for a few years.
Classics such as Favorite Nursery Rhymes from Mother Goose, will also always have a place on our shelf.
We love the personalisation of IseeMe’s books. They have my first name, seasonal and some other really lovely titles. I could simple order their entire collection! One for each Child 😀

I love your list. And I love Eric Carle’s books and products. I don’t have them in my collection but I’ve created few lessons for my little students based on the Very Hungry Caterpillar and showed them the book in animation on my computer.
